At, Shrimath, we have chosen 108 Yogasanas, 5 Pranayama techniques, Yoga Nidra, Antar Mouna, Mudra and Kriya from the living tradition of 'Satyananada Yoga.' Other processes like Mantra are also taught to take you further in the journey of self-discovery. Working at Shrimath farm, Teaching rural school kids are part of daily routine as these focused activities help to shape oneself as a holistic personality.

1. Executive Summary of the Course!

 India has 6 philosophical systems, and each is referred to as 'darshana,' means 'to see.' These systems are a judicious combination of principles (theory) & processes (practice). Yoga is 4th in this hierarchy, with Patanjali's Yoga Sutras as its reference manual. Along with this, in the tradition, Bhagawad Gita is studied, to understand the holistic nature of the Yoga system. 

At, Shrimath, we have chosen 108 Yogasanas, 5 Pranayama techniques, Yoga Nidra, Antar Mouna, Mudra and Kriya from the living tradition of 'Satyananada Yoga.' The chosen postures help to energize the joints, revitalize the digestive system, restore energy levels, arch the back, twist the spine, work on lateral bends, and help to adopt postures suited to Meditation. Other processes like Mantra are also taught to take you further in the journey of self-discovery.

2. Other aspects of the Course.. 

Apart from the above, at Shrimath, Awareness modules and Mantras are shared to deepen the Meditative experience. The practice of Yoga Nidra is shared across 4 levels, systematically, for better understanding.

To internalize the knowledge assimilated, in tradition, the students generally undertake a spiritual trip. This is an option but if the group deems it appropriate, then the 14 km walk around the holy hill of Arunachala would be organized with a camp at the ancient town of Tiruvannamalai. .

To conclude, the students would be continuously evaluated through written test and demo sessions as participation does not assure certification.
