Join us for the this brand new Summer Series for the South East Canicross Calendar.
After two sell out races in 2017 this picturesque 5k series takes place along the undulating forest paths and trails in and around Bedgebury National Forest.
The event is open to Canicross runners of all abilities, from novices to experienced athletes and there will be medals and dog treats on offer to all finishers.
The race is organised in partnership with Fit Together Canicross, who run Canicross Classes Courses & Fun Runs in Kent. They will also be on hand at the event to help with any Canicross related questions or advice as well as having kit for sale on the day.
Entry fee includes vehicle admission charges.
Prizes for 1st, 2nd, 3rd Male and Female plus a special series prizes for both male and female runners.
Runners will be set off in waves of 20 in 1 minute time slots.
Includes chip timing.
Strict entry limit of 100 runners.
The Course
The race features a scenic, undulating course using the forest tracks and trails within Bedgebury Pinetum. Runners will complete one lap for 5k.
First Aid
First Aiders will be in attendance on the day and the course will be marshalled to provide assistance. There will also be a sweep runner following the race to ensure that nobody is left behind and that all runners are accounted for.

Bedgebury National Pinetum & Forest is just off the A21 in Kent. The race is best accessed by car and your entry fee includes vehicle admission charges. There will be parking on site.
The area is also accessible by bicycle.
