In this series, CAJ COLLAB founders, Eve Veglio-White and Michael Kitchin bring together live artists, dancers, poets, actors, musicians to play and experiment together. Two artists collaborate for the first time; they have one day to prepare, and must perform that night!

JULY LINE UP

Eva O’Connor
Eva is a writer and performer from Co Clare, Ireland, based in London. She has written for TV, stage and radio and runs her own theatre company Sunday’s Child.
Her plays include My Name is Saoirse, Overshadowed – now an 8 part BBC Three series, The Friday Night Effect (co-written with Hildegard Ryan) and Maz and Bricks.
She has won various awards for her work including the First FortnightAward 2014, Argus Angel Award 2015 at the Brighton Fringe, The Fishamble Award for Best New Writing 2015 and Best Theatre Award at the Adelaide Fringe2017.

Akeim Toussaint Buck

Toussaint To Move is a multifaceted performing artist, born in Jamaica and raised in England. He seeks to create moving, thought provoking, accessible and free spirited projects with a myriad of performing art forms. Since graduating from the Northern School of Contemporary Dance with a first-class honours Bachelor degree in Performing Arts, Akeim has been involved in cross disciplinary projects working with a wide range of artists from around the world. His focus as a maker and collaborator is to combine expressive skills such as dance, writing poetry, beat-box, singing and acting to create performances telling stories that galvanise diverse audiences.

Jemima Foxtrot - Poet 
Jemima is a writer, performer, theatre-maker and musician who blends powerful, sonic-heavy words with snippets of song in her distinctive voice. Jemima has written commissions for BBC 2, BBC Arts, Channel 4 and Tate Britain. She has written three solo poetry plays which tour nationally and internationally: Melody and Above the Mealy-mouthed Sea with Lucy Allan and their theatre company Unholy Mess and Rear View with experimental theatre veterans I.O.U. All Damn Day, Jemima’s first collection of poetry, is published by Burning Eye Books.
