Sar Pass trek is one of the best mountain pass trek for novice trekkers. This trekking route in Himachal Pradesh is located in Parvati Valley of Kullu district at an altitude of 13800 ft. Sar Pass beautiful snow clad mountains, perennial streams, waterfalls, lush green forests, flowers and a variety of birds attracts thousands of trekkers every year. Kasol is the base camp of this Trek so anyone planning for Kasol or Sar Pass Trek can have the opportunity to explore both of these beautiful destinations. If you have enough time then You can also explore Manikaran, Tosh, Malana, Nagaru, Biskeri & Chalal Village. Sar Pass Trek is moderately challenging in nature and accessible between April to October every year.
Kasol, base camp for Sar Pass, is well connected by road to Kullu valley. You just have to take a bus For Bhuntar from either Delhi or Chandigarh. Regular bus service is available from Kullu and Bhuntar to reach Kasol. Direct buses are also available to Manikaran from Chandigarh and other parts of Punjab. Nearest railheads are Joginder Nagar, Pathankot and Chandigarh. The nearest airport is Bhuntar.
